Almost Cascading Leaves socks

socks_cascadingleaves_almos.jpg

By the time I finish this entry, they'll probably be done. I'm working on the toe of the second sock right now.

I started these way back before Christmas, planning two pairs of socks, one red and one green. The red elfine socks are finished and now belong to my aunt.

These green ones had a cast-on and about 3 inches done until I picked them up again about a week ago. and now look! nearly done! amazing.

Fantastic Diana! I wish I had been as smart as you to increase the number of leaf repeats... my socks are too short to wear with my boots =(

Plus... they're gorgeous! Way to go.

And they look beautiful and though the red and green was probably planned for Christmas, just seeing these spring green socks made me feel hopeful that spring actually IS on it's way...I hope ;0)

Quite lovely! Green is as much for spring as it is for Christmas :).

Doesn't it make you wonder why you left it so long in the first place? When it's knitting up so quick now! I do it all the time. They look great.

NICE SOCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Isn't it amazing how that works. They look great and I see some magic loop action.

Anna:

Just in time for St. Patrick's day!

Lovely! Great socks, and that green is so pretty. You've inprired me to try my hand at these.

Those socks rock! They're gorgeous! If you decide you don't like 'em, you can always send 'em my way (after you know who I am, of course) ;)

So cute! I hope these are for you.

Oh my gosh! I just cast on for these socks! Funny how things come around again eh?

the socks look great. very nice pattern.

i just realized that the XL JCrew sweater from your last post is identical to the sweater pattern my fiance picked out for me to knit for him! apparently he'd rather see me pull out my hair with all that stockinette than just buy a darn JCrew sweater!

They're gorgeous - I love me a nice green sock.

Lana:

They're turning out great! ^_^ I love that pattern!
