The Demi Knit Along begins

ohh... what fun, I have some Peace Fleece that would be awesome for this project... but I have too many other projects right now. Bummer, I'll keep this one in mind for the future though. Can't wait to see everyone's progress.

This sweater is on my long long list of must knits and if I could dig my yarn out of the storage unit I'd join you. It will be fun to see everyone's progress.

woman.. you tempt me so. but i must refrain from this one cuz i got me some major cabling action right now. will be watching closely from the sidelines.. and i imagine you will do a fantabulous job on this as well!

I've bought the yarn as soon as Vintage Knits came out last year. Is it ok to join you later? I've too many wips on hand and I want to finish some of them first ;)

Sign me up! This sweater's been on my list for a while, and I ordered the yarn (on sale - that rowanspun aran temptress) last week. I swatched last night and will cast on later this week!

Actually, that's isn't totally true. I swatched the yarn that I was so excited about and it was really nice. It was a close-out cone from my job (Webs Yarn Store) and it is meant to be a weaving yarn. It has to be washed to get gauge, and it develops an odd fuzziness that I didn't like. Once the spinning oil is gone, I think the cables wouldn't look crisp.
I think I'm back to my original choice, Tahki Donegal Tweed in a hunter green, turquoise flecks. I'll be posting updates =)
